Top5 albums I cannot live without: #5 Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
I was at work one day in Nashville and there was a drawing for a mystery gift. I won tickets to see Wilco that night at the Ryman. The Ryman was making a come back and it was my birthday so we went. I didn't know their songs though (I liked California Stars).
They won me over.
I bought Yankee Foxtrot Hotel because I really enjoyed Jesus, Etc.
The documentary about this album is fantastic. If you can find it, the battle with the label is quite a thing. Good times.
This isn't Yankee Hotel Foxtrot specific, but here's the set list from the first time I heard anything Wilco.
