I grew up in Nashville... which at one point became a satellite of Canada. I grew up on Canadian TV and to this day I love Canadian TV above all the rest. The settings are always lush and beautiful. The stories are at their best when they're depressing but polite. I love every Canadian show I've ever seen, but these are the ones I watch over and over:
  1. Battlestar Galactica
  2. Continuum
  3. Corner Gas
  4. DaVinci's Inquest / DaVinci's City Hall
  5. Flashpoint
  6. The Kids in the Hall
  7. Nowhere Man
  8. The Outer Limits
  9. Slings & Arrows
  10. Twitch City

Movies
This is shaky ground for me. I'm not nearly as familiar with the Canadian film industry, but I love these:
  1. Anne of Green Gables
  2. Bon Cop Bad Cop
  3. Corner Gas the movie
  4. Cube
  5. Exotica
  6. Foolproof (guilty pleasure)
  7. Ginger Snaps 3 (I know. I know. Guilty pleasure)
  8. Gunless
  9. Last Night
  10. Cruel & Unusual
