Top5 albums I cannot live without: #1 Crowded House's Woodface
This is one of the 5 albums that I cannot live without. It's sweet and cynical; dark and sappy. It spends a lot of time in the kitchen. It's Crowded House's Woodface.
They caught my attention when Tim Finn joined the band. He was familiar though I have no idea why to this day, but I was immediately glad he joined a band I'd never really noticed before. Neil Finn's lyrics blew my mind and made me a fan. But it was Paul Hester running off at the mouth that gave this one enough personality to make the record one of the all time favorites.
The highlight song is Weather With You. I've listened to it almost everyday since the albums release and I still love it.
