Hot Coffee is, among other things, a documentary about the lady that burned herself on McDonald coffee in the 90s. She was the poster child of frivolous lawsuits... But the documentary shows pictures of what actually happened to her... Oh my lands. It's amazing.
An interesting documentary that challenged our willingness to make an assumption based on an episode of Seinfeld or hilarious monologue from Craig Ferguson (I love that dude)... But clearly the film had another agenda. They painted McDonalds as a monster, but they didn't dedicate one single minute to explain anything from McDonald's point of view. That part was hard to ignore. Not a great argument by any means. It was a rant.
After seeing those pictures, I'd've given her a few million more.
I rarely eat at McDonalds... not to prove a point though... I just don't particularly care for their food.
